Hi everyone! I am the author of THE $30 A WEEK GROCERY BUDGET and I would like to welcome you to my site. Here you can see what I have been up to since I first wrote the book and how you can purchase my original books or the updated e-book(s) (Volume II is not yet ready). I know that grocery prices have soared in the past year but you can still keep your grocery bill to a minimum by using the theory behind the book. Some have asked if I should change the name to "The $50 A Week..." but I still have people searching for me under the original name so I am keeping it.You can do it for $50 a week by the way which is a lot less than some of you are spending! I am also writing a recipe of the month page with the recipes I have developed since I wrote the book using things like boneless chicken breast (when it is under $2 a pound).
I have a question and answer section on my Herb Lady page. You can ask about anything, my cookbooks, herbs, saving money or whatever. Just send a question to my email below.
These are the booklets written by me, Donna McKenna in 1991 and updated in 1992. Volume I has been updated to 2008. These books were written up in the TIGHTWAD GAZZETTE, the WASHINGTON POST and PARADE MAGAZINE to name a few. These are BRAND NEW books that I have here at my house. I have sold over 12,000 books and I have received hundreds of letters from people telling me how helpful these books have been in reducing their grocery bills. Volume I has 71 pages and Volume II has 48. These are self-published, staple bound books with cover-stock covers. The colors may vary from the picture.
You can now purchase my books online using the Paypal button below. Volume I is the new updated version. Volume II needs no updating. The cost for the two books is $14.00 which includes shipping.
I have just completed work on my revised Volume I (it is the same with some updated notes in the text) and I am making it available as a Microsoft word document or an adobe file. The word document can be read like a book in the reading view but the adobe file must be read by scrolling down. Be sure to specify which type of file you prefer and I will e-mail it to you when I receive the Paypal notice of purchase. The cost for the file is $4 and I ask that you do not share it with others.
